Always a caring, professional place. Never a harsh word, even with goofy chickens who hate to open their mouths! Highly recommended. 2nd review...had an emergency yesterday, and SWest got me in 2day! Helped my situation ENORMOUSLY!! I will be able to eat my Christmas dinner, & my tongue is no longer being stabbed by my tooth! Can't thank Dr.Prechtl & staff enough.

This may be the best dental office I've ever been to. They make me actually somehow enjoy going to the dentist. Every time I've walked through the door the front desk staff knew who I was from my appointment time before I even told them my name... I've never had this kind of service anywhere else. They treat me like I'm an old friend that they're happy to see again. It honestly makes me happy to see them, too. They'll answer your questions and work with you towards your dental health. They've helped me feel like an involved collaborator in my dental health, not a bystander. I have never felt shamed for my sweet tooth or oral hygiene habits by anyone in this dental practice. Of course, they'll gently remind you to floss and brush if you have been neglecting this, but they understand they are ultimately there to help you be your healthiest self, not to make you feel bad. During procedures (e.g. fillings, crowns, etc.), Dr. Jake and his team are very attentive to your comfort and will take many measures to help you feel comfortable. The team features advanced practice dental hygienists (APDH) who assist Dr. Jake with fillings, which means you have 2 experienced professionals working on you at the same time. The team will check on you and even watch your body language to ensure you are okay. They have stress balls and TVs to help nervous patients, and music playing in the background to create a fun ambience. If you want to know what they're about to do, just ask. They'll explain, take pictures, and give you as many details as you want to know. They'll also warn about pressure / sensitivity / unpleasant tastes before they go in, which I really appreciate. Unlike some dental practices, they don't aggressively push products. They may offer a suggestion on how to make changes that work for you, but they won't pressure you to buy anything from them. Even with dental procedures, they will give you options and honesty on how flexible your timing can be. This can be helpful if you're on a budget or your insurance is not as good. They will also try to recommend ways to optimize your dental coverage, and the office staff will advocate for you and work with you as much as they can in getting your insurer to cover costs of your dental care.

My husband and I went to this dentist office for our first time. They made is feel very welcome. Everybody is so nice, down to earth, and caring. I could tell that their patients' comfort is important to them. We felt the dentist explained both of our situations very well, gave us options, and gave his opinion of what he thinks might work best for each of us. The office is inviting with nice artsy decor and comfortable chairs. Since we are both nervous about going to the dentist, we both had a very good experience here.

One of a kind dental office, the ladies and Dr. Jake truly take time to listen to your concerns and always kept me informed on everything I had going on the entire time! They care just like a family member would and it’s so welcoming and comfortable😁My dental results were beyond my expectations!

I needed a tooth extracted and went to Southwest Dentistry. Today was the follow up to check on the extraction. I can’t give enough praises to the dentist, Dr. Prechtl and the entire staff. From entering to leaving-everything was perfect. The front office staff were very nice and helpful in checking me in and out. Dr Prechtl was great-so personable, gentle, just plain good! I had absolutely no pain during or after the extraction and today’s follow up showed no problems with the healing. I am so impressed with this office that I plan to forward my previous records and switch to this practice for future needs. If you need a great dentist with a great staff , I totally recommend Southwest Dentistry. Go see Dr. Jacob Prechtl and staff for your needs. You won’t be sorry!

Had not been to a Dentist in years out of fear and then out of shame for not going for so long. But the team at Southwest were amazing. Lori took x-rays and polished my teeth and took good care of me . She could not have been more awesome. Dr.Jaimie was amazing. So nice and took time to explain any issues and . Will never be worried about going to Dentist again. Definitely recommend going to them

I officially love this dentist office. They were able to pull my tooth, do my cleaning, schedule me out for my 6 month cleaning, they have done all different kinds of stuff to be able to help me. Absolutely love them and made sure that I was comfortable through the whole process. I have had bad dentistry in the past and they addressed all of those issues.

From the initial phone call it’s been amazing. I felt so safe and comfortable here. Everyone is so friendly and not stuffy like other DDS offices. There was no judgement from Dr. Jamie even tho it’s been over 2 years since I’ve seen a dentist. Hanna, Genna, Ilana, Nicole, and Dr. Jamie are a great team. I was recommended here by two of my coworkers and I’m glad I went! Now I’m referring people to come here after my awesome experience with these ladies. 10/10.

I really like Dr. Jaime McElroy and her staff. From the receptionists in the front office to her techs, everyone is so friendly and nice. I get very nervous during dental work, her and the staff are wonderful at making me feel less anxious and are constantly checking in to be sure I’m doing ok. I always ask her to give me extra numbing juice because I’m very sensitive to pain, she does a great job to make sure I’m comfortable during the procedure. I would recommend her to my family and friends, she’s great.

Needed to have some work done concerning some bone that needed to be removed…Lori set everything up and Dr B completed the needed procedure. Nothing but professionals found at this practice. Was amazed at how painless Dr B made it. If you’re looking for a top notch dental practice, you will not go wrong in choosing Southwest Dentistry. Thanks so much for the wonderful care!!!!

After being refused treatment at other dentist offices due to my anxiety driven high blood pressure, it was a relief to find Southwest Dentistry. The team was so kind and understanding. I was able to get my teeth cleaned and was treated with such respect. I am forever grateful for their professionalism and caring nature. Excited to be a patient there!

I was there today to have 5 extractions today. Dr Gbeeny is very professional and he visits and talks to me before working. He is gentle and whe I started to feel a little pain on my left side, he stopped immediately and gave me more novakaine shot. I didn't feel a thing after that. The nurse was very kind and friendly too. I would advise friends and family to come to S W Dentistry.

My experience at Southwest Dentistry was very pleasant from the time I walked in the door til the moment that I left. I was informed of how the procedure was going to take place and was given several chances to ask questions. During the procedure, I was constantly asked if I was OK. I'm very impressed. We have been going to Southwest Dentistry for over 15 years. Thr entire medical team has always taken great care of our family.
